Jilla Rating: 2.25/5
In-short: Usual Vijay’s masala with Mohana lal’s mass !!!
Mohan lal acted and Vijay just appeared in the movie
Treat for Ajith fans!!!! and Visual Treat for Vijay fans !!!
Review:
Story was very similar like dheena so many scenes can be easily correlated. Screen play was too dragging even after guessing what would happen scenes are still dragging like anything.
Family background, police story, love scenes, sister sentiment if you expect any of these then it is readily available in the movie as instant mix. Cluster of characters were used in the movie and they were very clumsily used.
Director has tried certain twists in the script which again not very impressive.
Coming to Vijay’s acting he was not mentally present in the movie and his involvement with script was questionable. I would say he just appeared in the movie and didn’t act in the movie.
Throughout the movie he appears with the beard which he used for Irrukkana song from Nanban, even in police training. Body language which he tried was, there is no need to look out for logic in masala movie but still certain scenes would make you to lose the patience.
Many scenes with police dress resembled pokiri and his dialogue delivering style was awkward. Scenes with Kajal could have been better. Dialogues from Vikram’s Samy were spoken again, speaking hindi again whack!!!!
Sentiment scenes with his brother, father, sister and mother will make you sick. Which in turn will raise a question inside you that how long this guy would continue to do this again and again.
Certain mass scenes were applauded still Mohan lal scenes got too much of response. Comedy was average. Visual treat for Vijay fans!!!
Positive:
Mohan lal’s scree presence and Kandhangi song
Comedy scenes here and there would make you laugh
Dance as usual but definitely not his best
Negative:
Screen play was too dragging
Re-recording was very average. Except two none of the songs was impressive!!
No Variation in vijay’s acting same old crap; dialogue delivering and body language will irritate you to the core ..
Sentiment were very average and wasn't enough to bring out acting skill
